Temporary off-location displays have always been a staple of any retail launch or promotion. It is rare a company has to many brands under its umbrella to warrant one all year round. Proctor & Gamble however do, and engaged with us to run a semi permanent off-location floor stand that enabled cross promotion, month to month. Reducing preproduction costs and increasing sales across aisles.

The unit is designed to be assembled by 1 Brand Rep and fit easily in a hatch-back or wagon for transport. Meeting all retailers requirements for one person handling in package size and weight (90cm square @ 7.5kg max.).

The floorstands consists of 3 individual towers reinforced with thin MDF to prolong its instore lifespan. The base is also dipped in wax to make it waterproof. Many displays get damaged when stores mop, clean restock at night. Water damaged and being run into by trollies and pallets.

Every single panel on the floorstand is updatable, simple offset printed, laminated card (cheap to produce). Every month the tower can be redressed for a new promotion and stocked with different P&G products. Mothers Day, Cricket Summer Bash, Skincare, Cold & Flu Winter Protect, etc.

The floorstand was quickly a hit, over 8,000 units have been made for P&G alone in the last 24 months (not including dress up kits!).

A lot of supermarket retailers are moving to self regulated, perminant display solutions, removing the innovation, creativity and marketing draw that so many brands rely on.

Currently P&G are working with Popcorn to get approval from major supermarket retailers on a permanent version to solidify their off-location position and marketing strategy in the evolving space.

Popcorn has registered the unit and licensed to their clients exclusively.
